"Now if this was the Bush administration there would be protests in the streets. When does "unreasonable search and seizure" apply? That's the fourth amendment to the Constitution for you leftists."

    God Bless us...I guess

I doubt most people even know what the 4th amendment says much less means. This administration is slowly and purposefully getting the masses used to such activities so by the time all of our freedoms have been stripped away, we won't even know it. I haven't been to an airport or taken public transportation in years but I'm tempted to now just so I can ask one of these fine JBT's if they have a search warrent. Or better yet, maybe I'll put a bunch of snakes in my bag...

To help with their budget woes, postal service to help keep eye out for terrorism.

Fredric V. Rolando, president of the 275,000-member National Association of Letter Carriers, doesn't sound like he's interested in making major concessions. He argues the agency should be increasing rather than cutting its services. One of his ideas is to outfit postal trucks with sensors so mail carriers can thwart possible biological terrorist attacks. "They can work with Homeland Security to detect things that are in the air," Rolando says.

Maybe the TSA and postal servive will merge. Boy that would be state of the art efficiency there, huh?

Before you "continue" trashing the postal service, let me remind you that they give preferential treatment to veterans when hiring. If you believe that they are in bed with the man let me assure you that they are your neighbors. They are simply a representation of the people in your community. If you feel that they are out to get you it's because you live in a bad environment. Am I being naive? possibly, However, my wife is the postmaster for the largest distribution center in my state. My wife tends garden, makes cheese, makes soap, and has the same mentallity as most of us on this forum. Don't be so quick to judge. Remember, Your being manipulated from every direction and one would be wise to look beyond the stereotypes. By the way, she reads the King James EVERY night, do you?

LOL yep don't let it get to you to much, there are those who have issues with most everyones profession at some point, especially if you work for the Gov. (evil, dumb and unable to have a "real" job) or are Union (you are sucking the USA dry because someone offered to pay you twice what you were making for the same job) or are LEO (out to get me even though i'm not doing anything wrong) or are a Soldier (mindless, spineless controlled robots who are gonna go house to house with tanks and take...) or etc etc etc and if you are any of these you can't possibly be one of "us". I think there would be some real big suprises if we all came out from behind the screen on who is who and what "they" really are and have done and actually have. Come to think of it theres a song bout that called "online" and its by Brad Paisely LOL.
And yet all that aside there are some real good people here with alot of knowledge. Sometimes their opinions get into feelings but Thank God we live in a place where can still voice them even on a forum such as this.

Yes, but you have to admit - You'd have alot more room for food storage if all those piles of un-delivered mail were not in the basement.....

(I'm KIDDING!!! Really! Honest... It's a Joke!) And now on to "Bad Lawyer" jokes....
