Scared; of that and a bunch of other stuff....I'll keep preparing. Got a copy of "One Second After" coming this week.

I think it's just a matter of time until one is used in anger. Probably sooner than we think.

One Second After is very, very good. I'm actually reading it for the 4th time right now.

Isn't it amazing that this is not discussed on any news channel. Virtually no air time has been spent on the developments of nukes in N.K. or Iran. Is the administration hoping that if no one talks about it the problem will go away?

I could care less about Wiener's photo scandal, but I do care about a world about to blow the heck up!

I think that it is possible that the government doesn't want us to know (no kidding, right? lol). Think about the panic and the fear that would cause to the sheep-ple! There's probably TONS of information that is being withheld from us that the government doesn't want us to know.

Agreed! That or it is out there, "hidden" in plain sight. I don't remember where I was, but some people were talking about (mocking) Glen Beck's show where he talked about Al Qadea possibly targeting school buses. I mentioned that it wasn't new information. Law enforcement has been aware of it for several years. They were shocked that no one else had ever covered it.

A good idea to get those faraday cages ready just in case.

I am surprised that this also did not get much if any news on it..... perhaps it was buried by the whole Casey Anthony trial drama.

It's probably not discussed in the news because so few listen to the news and the people who do are more interested in important things like, what color dress is Sarah Palin wearing or what will Weiner do now?

most of thre time, i think the government and the Media working together make up things to keep the public scared,. how else can the keep spending billions sending the country into bankruptcy with keeping the public scared.

That's very true. If you keep the people in fear, then you keep the people in line. Too many people don't think for themselves. It kinda reminds me of an old Twighlight Zone episode. The title of it escapes me but it was about how there were powere outages in a town and the people went crazy, blamimg eachother for everything. It turns out that it was two aliens ontop of a hill doing it to the town to watch the people go into pandamonium. The ending coment was so true but I can't remember it exactly.

Oh! I gotta tell ya this. I was telling my son about the EMP bomb and he knew all about it. He said that countries will use it before they invade. I asked him how he knew this and he said that it's in Call Of Duty. LOL I nearly pissed myself! A video game?

Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
