rucksacks

in the sportsmansguide catalog there are many rucksacks - polish, austrian, belgian and german. I have only used the ALICE packs. has anybody any experience with these other rucks

Only use Alice packs my self. You can buy some of the foreign stuff cheaper, and it may last as long.

I have had the German and Austrian. They are ok but thats about as far as I would go. The straps are usually leather and already aging and slow to get open with alot more movement than our alice pack snaps though the leather buckles open quieter than the velcro. The German flectar camo is great in the fall when in a tree stand but it has to much red for my liking otherwise.
