I think the house livable what about you? All the more reason to have private insurance, and just ignore the feds when they come to your area.

Sad thing is Irish-Tech, the government can squeeze out private home owners insurance.
Don't believe me, ask anybody who their flood insurance is through. I have not found ANY insurance companies that now carry flood insurance, you are re-directed to the government "national flood insurance program". Thats right 100% government controlled insurance.

Big Government is getting WAY too powerful...

When I was in Louisiana a few weeks ago, my buddy was telling me no one below I-12 was allowed to have private home owners insurance. He said you have to purchase it from Uncle Sam at 5 times the normal rate. Dont know how much truth is in that but WOW
You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?

FEMA (Fine Everyone and Manipulate All) If they can't help you, you will pay for them to help others. If they can help you, you pay for the service. It come down to the Government needs money to operate and the American public is out of the green stuff that an't worth the paper the Government printed it on. And the cycle will continue until the machine breaks and the SHTF.
