  • Coming to a city near YOU!!

City council passed this ordinance with a 6 yes 1 no vote.

Mandating ALL personnel within the city limits give up a key to their front door to the police department to maintain. This includes personal homeowners, businesses, and rental properties. Their reasoning, if the police or the fire department need to get into your property, they want to do it with as little damage as possible.

    THIS IS FREAKING INSANE PEOPLE!!!

Give them a key to come INTO my house whenever THEY think they need to?

One councilman in the video said it wasn't upto him or the citizens of the city to decide if it was unconstitutional. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??

Boy this is crazy. I'm suprised that it hasn't got more attention. I'm wondering if this is happening in other cities around the country.
Survival question. What do I need most, right now?

Can anyone sense a 4th admendment violation coming to a city near you. I don't give a key to most of my family, So I know for a fact the city is not getting one.

As previously stated - these people are NUTS!

What amazes me is that we see this type of craziness all over the U.S.

It is crazy, that much is certain....

However, I think with this posting and it going viral, there will be change.

And I guaruntee that 6 persons will be changed the next time city councils come up for re-election. ;)

I saw a vid of the council talking and I am agog at this idea that they think they are protecting the citizens by putting this in place. What a farse I hope someone sues the tar out of them and elects new officials.

Since, I am in the fire department I can say this.....

Their is the National Fire Code, which is usually just the Fire and Building code, which has fire laws and specific requirements for buildings. It is the cities determination as to what codes are used and how they are affected.

The only reason a "Knox" or "Lock" box is outside a property is usually where if a fire could occur- a large loss of life and or large loss of property could occur. The only ones with the "key" is usually the Lt, Captain, or Chief. These "keys" are a not a normal sort and are not your normal keys you get made at Home Depot. Most are magnetized or have the code inside the key. Think of some of the more expensive car keys with the chip inside them with the signal to open. But the Lt, Capt or the chief only has the key for that area and or district depending on the rules. They do not have one key for the whole city. Too dangerous, and usually we have gained entry long before the key shows up. That and usually the people are home and all when we get there. We also have neat little tools that can usually get us inside without damaging the door and or locking mechanism.

Now, why the police chief feels so strongly about this, is new to me. If anyone, cops are the last people I want in my house. I work along side some who are good, but I still don't want them in my house. If they know my preps, where they are and all- who is to stop them later when SHTF? All they need is that key and they are inside and my preps are gone. But as you will read below, it seems these people could care less and are happy that the government is there to "help" them....

This is a very black and white area as to where legal entry is defined. Giving up my OPSEC and litterally giving them a key to my front door is absurd and just dumb......

However, this little town has a little more going on to it than I thought as I wanted more knowledge... check this story out in the local paper of this little town. If this doesn't get you on the fence with anger in your soul and a fire in your belly, then I am not sure what will.....

Police run out of gas for guns.....

So if there are tools out there and the fact that 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the people would rather kick down the door to save their life why then do they think that they have to have these keys?

Thank you for being willing to run into a burning building to save a life by the way!

Cities all across the country have been doing similar programs of guns for ____ to get guns off the streets at least that is their story. I think its away to get guns from sheeple. I doubt a criminal would turn in their gun nor would a 2nd Amendment person. IMO for what its worth.

In my area, there are several county governments that mandate the Knox box on the builds both commercial and residential, but in both cases it is only to get into the "sprinkler room" not into the build space (for commercial) and not the dwelling space (for the residential units).

elittle, my last duty assignment was Maryland ( i know i know, i really had to bite my tongue alot at work ) they had several of these guns for XXX and I always LMAO
without fail, some kid would turn in his father's/mother's gun for the free cash
when the parent discovered it and tried to get their gun back, the guns were conveniently, "already melted down"...

unarm the sheeple, yep thats what I am going with too!!!
