    Ticks have been horrible this year. For a while I was pulling no less than 2 a day off my dogs despite using the Advantix stuff on them.

    I've always wondered why they have a vaccine for dogs for Lyme but not humans.

    Do you just ask your vet to write you a prescription? Mine would probably want to know why and having me bring my dog in.

      You don't need to go through a vet... You can buy it online or via eBay... Here is a link to a well-respected vendor on eBay that shows you the exact pill you are buying so you can cross-check that it is indeed the SAME PILL as for humans.

      I work at a University Health Facility, and I can assure you that the doctors and nurses here are very concerned about ticks and Lyme's, as they express this concern in small talk during lunch or when I am working on their computers...
