to help me (and others) get an idea of what we may be looking for post shtf, what will you be looking for to trade or barter.
Me personally it will most likely be food items, dairy being most important- milk, eggs cheese, yoghurt.
itry to stay away from exoctic items now, although i do love avacados, i will miss them, but i beleive in the 100 mile diet and when the markets start back i want to have items on hand that others may be in need of to trade for what i truly feel is valuable.
this is where i feel that big buisness and the governement has put the screws to its people, too many regulations concerning small farms, now basically i am forced to buy dairy from big buisness and not homegrown like i prefer.

people who are good enough to survive a few months to a year after the bombs/zombies/rapture will be good enough to find their own food in all probability. luxury items will soon become non-existent. i'd stock motel sized bars of soap, shampoo, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, etc. people will ALWAYS want those things. **** too..

Mythoughts and opinions on barter and trade

Nevershow more than necessary for a given trade. Never let on like you have more.

Onlytrade alcohol, weapons, and ammunition to those you know will not be a problemfor you later.

Hereare some examples of Tradesman’s Tools that could be stockpiled and either usedand the product/service bartered, or their USE bartered out. One wouldn’tbarter away the tools that bring in the food. (Again, I don’t have all theitems or skills.)
