As part of my new job, I have to travel 3-6 days a week. My company puts me up in hotels, ones that cost $100+ a night. I have started bringing the soaps, shampoos and coffee packs home with me for my preps. At first I felt like I should leave them but with what we pay for the room, I feel as if I can utilize these small bite-size necessities for my preps. I write a date on them and will eventually use them in my travel case for toiletries. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I never used to because it seemed like steeling somehow. Then I started reviewing my bill. There is a specific place on it where you are charged specifically for that. So my thought is, you paid for it. You might as well bring it home and use for something. They do come in pretty handy. One little bar of soap and one little shampoo more than got me through a four day camp a few weeks ago. So I could get sweaty all day and wash the funk off, by carrying next to nothing extra.

Oh yeah I believe I more than pay for them....I have stayed in 14 different hotels in the last 4 weeks so yeah...I have quite a lil stockpile. My friend worked at one and said they include all those toiletries at an inflated rate into your price. Also, I have grabbed a roll of TP a couple of times. I keep it in my GMHB that I keep with me at all times on the road. I should have a 3 year supply
of soap and shampoo, and coffee with packs of sugar and sweetener within the next 3 months. You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?
