Dont't rely on FEMA to come save ya! FEMA is asking, for right now, for the aid "mistakinly" given to over 5,500 people in 129 different disasters back, including Katrina victims.... Just when they thought the GOVT had all their woories taken care of.

Imagine getting a letter from the feds telling you that you now have to repay the 20k in aid that was given to you after your house was wiped out by a flood or tornado 5 years ago and the reason for collection was because some of the FEMA employees didnt understand what the qualifications were for the aid. No other reason just come up with the money. All the more reason to be prepared if you ask me.... or even if you dont ask me :)

Thats what I was thinking when I started this post. I can imagine myself in a major disaster, hurricane,tornado, or some crazy flood that for some reason I thought could never happen even though I am living in a regular flood plain (which i'm not and would'nt ever no matter how awesome the view).

So it happens... then the fema comes in and helps you and yours out. then 5 years later they "decide that you shouldn't have received that assistance in the first place".

I hear you Mustangal, antishot and arcangel911. I'm not an idiot, I think I was just in shock when I read that.
