  • BIOGRAPHICAL QUESTIONNAIRE FOR A U.S. PASSPORT

    http://www.consumertraveler.com/toda...et-a-passport/

    http://papersplease.org/wp/wp-conten...3-proposed.pdf

The first link above is to an article describing the requirements for a new Biographical questionnaire for obtaining a U.S. Passport. The second link is a copy of the proposed questionnaire.

Some of the questions are absurd. Do you know your mother's address one year prior to your birth. Do you know where she got pre-natal care? The dates of her doctor appointments. What about any religious ceremonies surrounding your birth. Baptism perhaps?

I'm not making this up folks. When I first read the form I thought it was a delayed April fools joke or something. It's not!

In all sincerity I must ask exactly who developed this form. *It is perhaps one of the most idiotic governmental BS ever developed by some government worker who has nothing productive to do. *No one can remember the data you are asking for, and even if they could. it smacks of racism and religious discrimination!

I'm really wondering if this is a delayed April Fools joke. *But with the current administration I truly wonder.
This is the above email I wrote in response to the request for public input.

I'm still thinking this has to be a joke~

I always wondered though, now that you brought up passports, how do orphans get a passport? Seems they would fail the background check since they cannot give parent's names...

Orphans will have paperwork that goes thru different channels with affidavites signed by the officials who run the orphanage or by someone in something similiar to childrens services, it's called something different in every country/state

My favorite part was the section concerning the circumstance surrounding your birth. Who was present? Religous ceremonies? Am I circumcized? They way things are today the question of circumcision can be determined when I proceed through TSA screening trying to get out of this country...
