  • More on EDC - Vehicles

I recently cleaned out my pickup and discovered that I could almost outfit a whole separate person if I needed to! This is just stuff that I carry to use when I work or play. If I decided that SHTF and I need whoever is with me as a force multiplier and we have to abandon the vehicle (thinking emp), this might be worthy of taking a minute to outfit them as I usually haul sheeple outside of my family:(
This does not count my ever present GMHB, but that stuff is mine and sheeple are unworthy of it:)

Some of the things I would want to quickly strip

    in my tool box
    machete

    long fireplace lighter

    25ft 550 cord
    first aid kit

    pliers

    folding army shovel

    zip ties

    In my glove box
    lighter

    gerber gator folding knife

    eyeglasses screwdriver

    box of matches

    shaker style no battery flashlight

    In the Cab
    bottles of water

    gortex

    extra boots,socks

    pepper spray

    camo boonie hat

zip lock bags - collect food-collect & purify water

    bug spray

    sunblock

    gloves

    binoculars

    snack food

can of mt dew - (I love this stuff) can for boiling/cooking

What all do you have "extra" in the vehicle?

And my favorite rifle a Kel-tec sub 2000. For those not familar, it takes glock 17 9mm mags (the same as my glock 17 sidearm) and it folds down to only 16 inches! It fits in a B.O.B., a back pack or briefcase. With a standard sights you can hit pie plates at 100 yds and torso shots at 200 yds.

well..in the cab i carry a semi loaded pack. In this pack is use on spot supplies. This is a pack designed to be pulled out by the wife/me/whoever in case of break down or event. It has-

      chem lights
      and a 5x8 tarp i made.
      few extras as well.
i also carry a fleece solider 95 jacket, m65 with liner, spare hat, outdoor blanket and large FAK in teh same location as the pack,

i carry a GHB with me that is redundant to many items above.

i have enough junk that it takes up all my spare room for the most part LOL
