What is happening?

Every so often, I will browse some charts at the Fed website. I stumbled upon this on the other day and cannot make out what is happening.



Now I believe that the first big spike was QE1 as it started in Oct-Nov 2008, but the second spike I cannot figure out. If I remember correctly, QE2 should have started in Oct-Nov 2010 so we should have seen the spike then and not now 3-4 months later.

Anyone have any ideas? I trust the people here more than the MSM...Oh wait, the MSM isn't even talking about this, now that's strange, hmmm....(sarcastic switch off)

Kind of thought the same thing, but why are we just now seeing this. Is the Fed injecting more $$$$$$ and not telling us. They wouldn't do that, would they? :rolleyes: Are they having to inject more $$$$$$ due to the "Kinetic Military Action", or is something else going to happen that they need cash for? I guess all we can do is wait.

Now I'm not a Glenn Beck kind of guy but it wouldn't surprise me if there was some end goal to make the American dollar worthless, therefore creating a scenario to join with the Euro currency. I know that's a far stretch but it is very likely that people believe it would be better to share a world currency than be our own. I hope I am wrong but by the readings of the graph and how people think spending is best; I can't seem to see the logic in it all.

Spend your way into a certain position and the consequences for everyone else don't matter, because you are in a position of power and privilege. Even if they don't have some diabolical plot to destroy America, they have ideals and goals they know will likely do that, but have no reason not to, because they won't suffer from it. They will still be on top. There are a lot of things about America they hate, and want to destroy. The dollar might not be of particular interest to destroy. That is just part of the means to a certain end. It isn't that they hate the dollar. They hate America, and in order to bring about the world they want, destroying the dollar is just one step in that plan to get there. Remember, Obama wants to "fundamentally change America."
