All the stuff I order online goes to my dad's when I'm out of town at work. I get back from work, and he tells me that the UPS guy, after delivering numerous packages on different occasions, gets out with a box, see's my dad outside and in greeting, laughs and says, "it's a heavy one, this must be more ammo. If something ever happens, I'm coming over hear."
Uh, not if you don't want to see that ammo in motion.
Wow, that kinda sucks. This isn't where everything will be kept and stored, and it isn't the current BOL, so I guess that's O.K. However, you don't like anyone thinking of your house as a place with lots of stuff in it. This UPS guy delivers stuff all day, for a living, so maybe it isn't any big deal. Still, this doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Even in a non SHTF time, people break in and steal things when they know others have them. Hopefully the UPS guy is better than that.

yoinks! I guess that would be tricky. You could try to play it off, and say something like "What? Oh no, I do a lot of competitive shooting and bulk buying for my team" or something equally cheezy. geh.
    That still sucks though.

Yeah that stinks.....better start alternating your shippers (FedEX, DHL, & UPS) or something along those lines...Or if you can, get one of those Mailbox places, I had one for packages only when I lived in an Apartment and didn't want PC parts sitting outside the Apartment bldg. all day. They received my UPS packages all day long, UPS had no problem cause it wasn't an actual P.O. Box, the company also was a pickup location for UPS/FedEX.

Yeah, I was thinking more like intimidation factor from the crazy guy type thing. "Yeah, there is a rifle pointed at your head right now, with some of the last ammo you brought in it," LOL. I don't know, man maybe this guy is pretty cool or something. I've never met him but that may change in the next day or two because I'm waiting on some Danner boots to get here. But yeah, it definitely sucks.

"You mean the stuff we get delivered for our gunshow business? Oh man let me tell you about that! People buy that stuff so quick I'm constantly reordering for every weekend's show!..."

continue to ramble for about a minute letting the driver's eyes glaze over.....

I headed off something similar even though it goes to a drop address by using that. Had a problem with a slack driver not wanting to drive out to deliver COD's to the middle of the woods. I called him up later and said "EVERYTHING we have delivered there is for re-sale. 99% of it is literally back in your system within a few hours. EVERYTHING that you deliver there goes back out right away, I can't lose a day to a non attempt.." The driver's screwup gave me a great opportunity to give a reason- before it was asked about the cases of ammo, boxes of mags, LTS food. They have been delivering business stuff for years, what's the difference to them?

And yes, your correct, it's not the place you want to be when the time comes, but nevertheless you want and need a good cover story NOW.
