    UPDATE!!

Hey all just wanted to update everybody.

We just got back from a trip to the cannery in San Anton, and in case you have not been to your local cannery you may want to check before placing an order.

Our cannery drastically raised all their prices.

Rice went from $10 to $13 (now a mere ONE PENNY savings per pound over WalMart)
Wheat, Red or White, went from $7.65 to a whopping $11.45.

I will still use our cannery for wheat most likely, as no other place locally sells wheat in bulk that I can find. But since the majority of our trips were for added to the stockpile of rice, we will now be buying rice at WM. As 1 cent per pound is not worth the 30 minute drive there and 30 minute drive back.

The sister in charge said the prices are scheduled to go up again by the end of the year.

Just a heads up for all you stockpilers out there.
