I went to the gunshow today. I don't go often and I made some interesting observations since my last visit.
It was wall to wall in there even with the inflated price of $12 a head. Crazy
There were emergency food vendors which I've never seen at a show (Shelf Reliance). Interesting though this is the second person I have seen "selling" it but didn't have any stock for sale but you can go to our website and blah blah blah
There was a vendor for Heirlooms Seeds and PVC Vaults to "store" them in. Wow and huh never seen that before
I'm a bit skeptical of buying seeds from someone I dont know or never heard and knows nothing of my growing area.
There were dang few firearms vendors which wanted you handling their guns. This was crazy to me because I was there to find a better fitting 9mm for my daughter than the wide body glock. How in the heck am I supposed to know what gun I want if I can't touch it? Am I just supposed to see a picture or a gun add with cool music and throw myself at it? They really ticked me off and after everything we have done to stop them from being shut down I am beginning to question why. Seeing walmart ammo for a 10% markup on the table is also crazy.
We were succesful in our mission and my daughter really likes the Ruger SR9, now to find one to shoot. Tried to put her in a single stack compact and she was having none of that! Stated she would "settle" for a SR9C but "liked" the balance of the full size better and wants the high cap mags.
LOL guess that acorn didn't fall far from the tree!
