I believe that these shows are a big scripted scam, However it does get people to think and gets some of the sheep to wake up and prepare a little. The more people that are prepared the less there are that become desperate and dangerous. In theory anyway.

I guess these types of shows are better than most reality TV.

Truthfully though I don't watch much TV, with that said I do like Survivorman with Les Stroud and I cannot stand that poser Bear Grylls.:mad:

Ok so it wasn't "new" but it did take some of the better learning portions and condense them. ahh well
