  • Homefront the Video Game

I know this is a video game and probably has zero redemptive value. That being said the video just made me smile a bit.

Just watched the entire Single Player Campaign on Youtube. Was giving them creative licence until the player had to steal a helicopter from a bunch of crazy survialists who were prepping long before the invasion. I think I'm going to buy spend my money somewhere else than waste it on this game. IMHO.

I wonder if the author of "One Second After" is excited about this game or not?

Its a fun game. The survivalist part is a bit cheesy, but not all that out of the realm of possible reality. I liked it overall.

Well, if nothing else, maybe it will plant the seed of preparedness in a few thousand people...

I bought it on release day, played it exclusively for awhile, but got tired of the hackers.

One guy got over a 100 kills and 0 deaths in one battle with a pistol. The programmers obviously made a ton of money releasing the code or making the code hackable for third party hackers. It sits in my "unused icons" folder now.... Wasted fifty bucks...

Did I hear something about John Millius who had a hand in Red Dawn having something to do with this game?

Now Freedom Fighters was pretty cool- revisionist history wherein Russia got the A bomb first and later invades U.S. You are fighting in NYC of all places.
