New post apoc movie out in the theater- The Dogstars.

A biological issue has caused TEOTWAWKI and there are survivors here and there. Set around Colorado.

Won't give any spoilers suffice to say good use of a small airplane. I was hopeful to see some decent usage of NODs and thermal and one of the characters did use them a bit, but the view shown as either some mega crappy digital night vision or something they modified heavily to look more like a cheap video game (during the "NODs" view scenes).

Definitely worth a watch. Earliest showing in our area and there was about 8 people in the theater which is a big crowd for most shows during those times.

I read the book some years back. There were a lot of 'holes' in the plot and how the protagonist handled things. Way too touchy feely and short on logistics. Decent plot though. From what I see posted, the movie is somewhat of a dissapointment. Seems Ridley Scott may have lost his mojo.
