It's not anything important folks it was just a "we miss you at the forums" type thing that went out to everyone for those we haven't seen here in a while.

If you've changed emails and not updated your profile, it wouldn't know that without you inputting the new info.

It also seems like some got the email right away, some days later- that's Vbulletin board that sends it, so not sure why it's spaced out like that.
Anyway, nothing ground breaking, just trying to touch base with folks that hadn't been on here in a while.

A lot of folks "lost access" to the site once that "freedom loving" new hosting provider we used for a bit absolutely F&CKED US on the domain and we lost the original domain name.
No one was "banned" or any BS like that. If you couldn't get on for a while you were likely trying some of the old links- which probably go to some gambling site now.

It's been a lot of fun for us because of that BS the last few years, including several thousand dollars more spent for the forums here that wasn't necessary due to that crappy hosting we moved to. People complain about godaddy for various reasons but I've used them for about 27 years now with no serious issues, certainly no "we need your dna to release this" BS. Sure, that's going to happen....

So yeah once again, no one has been "banned" in years like maybe 10 that wasn't a spammer. Links and access changed due to the mess of the new hosting provider we went to thinking they were more protective and freedom loving. I ended up "taking one for the team" on that one and spending a lot of bucks fixing that and WWD fixed a lot of the mess that hostgator caused for us in that mess.

If you couldn't get on the site, it was likely one of these things. We don't ban folks we know unless they go full retard and I would have remembered that.
