Heard about it several times, have not seen it.

Evidently the obamas "produced" it... Should tell us everything we need to know. And there is evidently the race baiting you can expect from them also. "You can't trust white people."

Here is the interesting part-

Go and read the whole article. I feel like this movie could fall under the "predictive programming" concept.

Who has seen the movie? How bad is it? I don't pay for netflix and I'm not going to start for an obama movie LOL.

Odd stuff (there was a LOT of it)
Like the tanker that grounded was named WHITE WHALE or something like that and just happened to be the name of the supposedly first ship to bring slaves here.
The painting on the wall that actually changed thruout the movie.
The kids in the movie were just dippy.
Lots of racial stuff
Just stupid overall.

A buddy of mine in VA told me all the preppers up there have been freaking out about the movie as well as the upcoming "Civil War" movie.

The Civil War movie is likely to be a CROCK from the previews I've seen.

Thinking, I am ,,,,, this is a like the song by the title PROP,PROP, PROP, PROPAGANDA

I remember an older CW movie where a state like Montana and their state guard sealed off their state.
It was another attempt at starting a MEME or a thought pattern or what ever the bad people want.

IF there's a civil war, it'll not be like they are showing it to be., No lines of armed people, no tanks, no jets.

It'll be an individual with his deer rifle going out and eliminating what's considered to be a single bad person and going home.
In 2 or 3 weeks, he'll do it again.

If they set up roadblock, the overlook folks will be gone and then 1 or 2 running the roadblock and the shooters disappearing/running away.
Soon, nobody is going to want to man a roadblock.

Then the single or double shots into .gov buildings.

Then key people walk out their door to go to work and fall down.

At least that's the way I think it will play out.

Go back and re-read "Unintended Consequences".

Nasty unsettling time.

My IMHO is the folks who want to destroy our Republic actually want us to do this and we really won't.

But all best laid plans go to shiite when the first bullet flies.

My guess is they'll down the system. internet, water systems, phones and hope we'll destroy ourselves which we may indeed do.

Or maybe AI and holograms and give us an alien attack or some such.

My hope is we restore the original constitution and none of the amendments (keeping the bill of rights of course) and start over including required use of paper ballots.

Between Matt Bracken's books and "Unintended Consequences" I get the feeling we MAY live in "Interesting Times" (as the curse goes).

Anyhow, that's my best of Sunday musings.

About the propaganda, who in the heck is gonna come from Utah, Montana or equal and go to DC to mess with them. Ain't worth the drive.
Now if we was a little country, like all the one in Europe, I could see it but we're a lot BIGGER than Europe.

I watched that horrible crap today...

I can honestly say that I have watched and own probably close to 100 post apoc/disaster films, some extremely rare like "Exterminators of the Year 3000".

This "leave the world behind" movie would be in the top ten of the WORST of these. Pretty bad when you are in with some movies that were obviously made with home camcorders in the 80's that we joked about using a "flying sock" as a spaceship prop.

The underlying premise- aside from all white people are bad- is that we are our own worst enemy. I'm guessing that's new? The "self proclaimed survivalist" that was an evil profitter also, sat in front of an American flag and had the only long gun in the whole movie. SYMBOLISM. Too many watch stuff like this and totally miss the symbolism.

White men bad, you know how you know? Three clocks near his bed, two on the left side show 6s and one on the right side also partially shows only one number- you guessed it also a 6. But later he is just a "useless man."

Julia Roberts really went down hill, and I must say I'm not one to freak about cussing, but it does not become her, some people just can't pull it off. Ethan Hawke looks like a skeevy old white guy. Kevin Bacon is the bad guy/survivalist.

Only redeeming part was the EVs getting hacked, course they were all Teslas- Musk I"m sure isn't a favorite of the libs so it was a good way to gig on him also.

watched it a couple weeks or so ago, yup 6-6-6 right at the beginning and the the racial slurs. I do not know what the picture changing was all about though, anyone have an idea? Predictive Programming, I believe it was....

I'd take a stab at what the changing picture thing meant but why bother.
The most obvious was the tanker hitting the beach. They made sure you saw it was the WHITE LION. The "supposed" first ship to land slaves in the new world.
Might have been for dark skinned Africans but the first ships carried white Irish, British, etc as slaves.
The blacks were eventually more popular cause stronger and more robust than the white slaves.

Anyhoo, what a POS movie.

Bet the civil war movie will be just as bad.

BTW heard a "supposedly" well founded somewhat popular radio show guy bring up Brandon's comments about what good is your rifle against an F15.
He was giving credence to the remark.

Senator Gore Sr.( the father of the founder of the internet) once told me while playing poker why the government feared me.

He said you were a frontline combat soldier and you have seen the fact that one man with a rifle can change a government.
That scares the hell out of the people inside the beltway.

Al Gore Senior was the type of man we need now to keep our Republic.
