  • replacing a computer

my computer has been a laptop that i've had for years. it was getting slower and disconnecting suddenly and other ailments... but i didn't want to change.
    --
    finally had to.
    --
bought one of the cheapest hewlett packards i could find at wally world.
    --
new computer wanted to download all kinds of stuff i couldn't identify.
so i got stingy and started saying --NO.

new computer doesn't know my passwords and codes to get into various websites... sheesh.
i had a few of them written down, but old computer could just remember them!

no teenagers in the house to make the blessed thing do right!

i'm beginning to understand why old folks gripe and complain about so many things.
thanks for letting me blow off a little steam.... and
thanks for this website somehow remembering who i am. i don't know how it knew but this site remembered my password!

gthiah... anybody know that code? the first thing i read when i got here was that the gov't is using my hard earned tax money to
give it to illegals. sheet. gthiah
this country is "going to hell in a handbasket"

the coffee will be ready now... i'll get some coffee and calm down! then get the little lady and go see how much groceries have gone up. then gripe some more.
i've been going with her more often... can you picture it... ? you see it most times you go to town. ole fart can't drive, weaves a little. hollers for the young punks to get outa his way.
parks kaddy womper in the parking space messing up 3 parking spots. stumbles inside the store and wants to push the buggy. he tells the little woman he's going to help by pushing the buggy. actually, he needs the buggy as a support...

2 weeks ago i went with the bride to the grocery store and suggested we get some salt... that was something i remembered the price... they had the little blue cylinders. and i knew those went for 10 cents each! i thought we'd "stock up." heck fire, i expected the containers had probably gone up to 15 to 18 cents with all this inflation. yall wouldn't believe me if i told you what they were!

    where's that coffee?

Was listening to "Alas Babylon" with my son on a trip recently. It got to the point where "Randy" realized they needed salt and paid the grocer who was still stupid enough to accept cash $10. a lb. for salt.

I told my son last time we bought 25 lb. sacks they were about $4. or $5. each.

Glad somebody else buys salt in 25# bags. Sheesh, Morton salt 25# bag is some $33 a bag.
      Dang.
Oh well, that's what the global elites call PROGRESS. Hahaha

I still say we should sing them a hymn.
