Figured for sure RR would have a thread on the "what if" of a prisoner swap by now :)

Given the latest non sense in the news. Nothing as good as leaving a Marine in prison while trading for a commie trans pot smoking Amerika hater.

Any who.... so a prisoner swap scenario has played out a couple times in various SHTF type media, I can think of The Walking Dead episode in Atlantadishu where they swapped or were going to swap prisoners.

I don't think this could be reasonably done. But it's not uncommon in WROL areas of the world for small bribes to be given for people "finding" your kidnapped family member. You know you got to show your appreciation for them "finding" your guy right?

Do you try to save every Tom, Dick and great grandma? Or do you try to go scorched earth Russians at the theater?

a couple of questions.
some one kidnaps your favorite daughter or granddaughter... what would you give them to redeem your daughter?

you are kidnapped ... what would you want your family to give up to save you? all the money? all the money and the precious metals? include the equipment and the deed to the farm?

after you signed over the farm to recover your loved one, would you respond ?? risk other family /team members lives in order to retaliate?

edit... oh yeah, i ain't saying what i would do to the above questions, and i guess yall shouldn't either.
