We didn't exactly get the "red wave" that we kept hearing about.

So, two more years (at least) of non sense- bad fiscal policy, possibly getting us into WWIII via Ukraine, more "woke" BS?

Predictions for the next two years?

we are sending stuff, money, men to ukraine... (and many other countries)
the question has been bugging me..

would ukraine and/or all the other recipients of our generosity -- send stuff, money, men, equipment to the u.s. if one of the bad guy countries attacked us?

the category i feel the most strong about is our economy/money... it has been our god. it's clearly a false god, so with God's kick in the rear, or just the natural failure of
something that is false, i don't see any positive outcome. sadly

Predictions with some not solicited ideas?
Things will get worse economically, so buy what you anticipate you will need/require/want now and it will be more expensive a year from now...

Things will stay the same politically, do not expect the Rs to come thru with anything meaningful...there will be a lot of "we're going to do this or that, but we are being blocked by the Ds" kinda crap....if we do get majority in house, will there be hearings for CV19/Fauci, Hunters laptop, Ukraine investigation and maybe other things. They will make the news, spun by whatever channel you watch, but I predict nothing will be done...all talk and no bite. Durham anyone?

Medical system will continue to get harder...wait times will be longer, hospital will be "full" as they won't have the nurses/staff, supplies will be hard to get and procedures will be limited as meds will become limited. OTC meds will become short or hard to find, so buy them now if you can. Learn how to take care of yourself...get fish antibiotics for your fish, wink, and learn how to use them appropriately...Some YT folks are talking about JASE Medical where you can get "emergency meds". Your medical costs for insurance and Rxs will continue to climb.

Insurances will increase. Homeowners, auto, health. life, etc....

Learn to do things for yourself or network with others. Service techs and repairs will become more expensive. Use YT to look up your specific problem as you will be surprised what people post.

Food will become more expensive. Look at grocery stores you do not normally visit, like Aldi. Learn to garden. Buy your fertilizer now and store it. Get your seeds now and start small and learn. Remember, anything you grow and eat will be saving you some money even if it is just a couple tomato plants. Also, TY has numerous folks talking about "feeding a family of four for x dollars per month" and such.

Energy costs will rise as we have seen. Some states are saying NO fossil fuel cars can be sold in their states starting 2035. Why will a refiner want to upgrade or build a new refinery when the CEOs see what is happening? With increased fuel costs it affects EVERYTHING in your life....your power that comes into your house, anything you own or buy that is made of plastic (even those EVs but shhh-that will be our secret), anything that is transported by train, plane, or semi....

Civil unrest? I am not sure we will see a CW2, but with the economy getting harder for people, and I predict we will see further layoffs coming January 2023 and beyond. Look at all the tech companies that have had layoffs recently...Twitter, Meta/FB, Opendoor, Redfin and others. I believe after the holiday season, brick and mortar stores will begin layoffs. People will get hungry, angry, anxious, you pick the word. This will cause many to get violent and seek out food/water. So, have your defensive items ready. Take a critical look at your area of operation and look for weaknesses. Where will a likely breach occur and can you harden it? Will you have enough people to be on "lookout" 24/7? Can you use security cameras? If so, make sure you can power them 24/7. Some cannot move to the country, I get it, but you can add a layer or two to your defense. Have your weapons ready...are they clean, are the zeroed, have you trained...Have ammo...despite what some say, you will need more than one or two boxes and only the two mags that came with your pistol. Think force multipliers. Look at some NODs that JRH enterprises sells. I bought mine from him and he will steer you right...Same with a DBAL and get it from Robert at JRH enterprises...these two together, with training (JRH again), can be a force multiplier...

I add this as a possible solution to augment some of your energy costs. As I stated earlier, energy is going to get more expensive as they want to push the GND. You may want to get rechargeable batteries and a recharger for flashlights (another force multiplier). Look at solar generators, fuel generators or a small solar system. People look at a whole house system, and they are great, but they are expensive. Look at a small one that will power essentials...a few lights/fans, battery chargers, fans, fridge, freezers and maybe a washer. Big items like water heaters, dryers, range and AC take a LOT of battery and solar which adds to cost. Keep it simple but expandable.

You asked...these are just my opinions...your mileage may vary....

I want the Rs to: Close the border, deport all illegal aliens, force the issuance of permits for drilling and refinery construction, outlaw cashless bail/catch and release systems, end programs that pay farmers not to grow food, and stop sending taxpayer dollars to the black hole of Ukraine etc. In spite of a disappointing election cycle, some good America First candidates did get elected and they need to bring pressure to bear on the establishment Rs to do more than give lip service to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. All hope is not lost, although a big part of it has been.

Unless we can stop spending trillions that we don't have and rein in this authoritarian regime, the economy will continue to fail, inflation will continue to rise, food shortages will grow exponentially, and civil unrest will follow all of that.

Most all of the above is solid.
For security which is convenient and functional, I recommend the Dakota Alert MURS combined with Baofeng UV-5RE.which is a walkie-talkie. (transceiver) CHEAP!
No wires or WIFI needed. All old school radio.

The Dakota Alert can easily be hung anywhere and runs on 4 AA batteries. Also available for them is a slide over box which makes them look like a small birdhouse.
Most folks never pick up on the fact I have them.
Dakota Alert also has a nice box (radio base unit) which runs on AC or battery for the house, barn, shop, where ever. It receives the sensor alarm and also serves as an intercom if you have more than one.
Dakota stuff doesn't require a license.

If you get 1 or more Baofeng and get a local ham to put it on your Dakota Alert frequency (MURS 151.xxx Megahertz), then you will hear any alerts with the radio on your belt and you can talk to the house/shop units as well.

The Dakotas MURS units work off of an infrared heat sensor for motion detection. Mine are used to cover 300 feet away and the sensor is narrow, kinda like a laser, so you don't get a lot of false alarms.
I run these on all four property lines, the pond and the driveway both before and after the gate.
I hear my alerts up to 2 miles away with the baofeng's on my belt.
The one outside the gate lets you know if somebody turns into your driveway, like UPS or Amazon and the one inside the gate lets you know if somebody drove past the gate which is shut after dark.


Even my millennial kids like the fact we can sleep well at night.
Not expensive as prices go today and hope it helps somebody here.
