  • price of diesel?

i've spent the last week out of state, working long hours helping someone fix up their home... no time for internet...
on the way up and back home today, i kept noticing diesel prices...
generally 1.90 to 2.00 higher than regular. !! what the foolishness ( changed from another f word) is that?
diesel is cheaper to produce than gasoline.
    supposedly. ?

surely we don't get our diesel from russia or the ukraine?

i've got some associates with very large and heavy trucks. others with very large and heavy diesel motorhomes that get 6 or so miles per gallon. a bunch of farmers are going to be hurting.

some of these guys have got money to burn... yep, that 's will be happening when they mosey on down the road!

anybody got the skinny on diesel supplies or pricing?

Noticed it dropped a bit about a month or so back and then headed back up while gas prices seemed to drop. That's for off road but that price is usually tied to standard diesel by about .25 cents less on average.

I believe "gas" prices are being artificially lowered right now via biden releasing from the strategic reserve. You would think diesel would be also? Or maybe if we want to get conspiracy thinking maybe just gas was released and not diesel specifically because dumskie liberal soccer moms are driving small cars and gas SUVs, not diesel trucks like those "evil ultra MAGA" white rednecks drive.

Brent Crude around $95. a barrel as I type this. So yes with refining costs gas should usually be more expensive than diesel.

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

CA is looking into getting rid of diesel tractor trailers - must be you'll need an EV 18-wheeler to operate in CA. Say goodbye to food, fuel, goods and services, and hello to the NWO...
