I pray all that have died protecting our Country are resting in peace....Protecting the sheep from the wolves that want them, their family, their money and full control of our Country!

Guns and gear are cool, but bandages stop the bleeding!

ATTENTION: No trees or animals were harmed in any way in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were really ticked off!

at church they asked those who had lost family in any war to stand... i didn't stand.

working, i considered the question further.
great great uncle died of trauma and disease recieved in a yankee pow camp.
a cousin's son committed suicide after returning from iraq.

most of us (for sure me) don't realize or comprehend the horribleness that our warriors see/experience.

My father came home from WWII a different man, and went from a sober, religious man to an alcoholic who had lost his faith. I'm not sure he ever regained his faith and the alcoholism killed him.Originally posted by rockriver View Postat church they asked those who had lost family in any war to stand... i didn't stand.

My brother came back from Vietnam with white hair and an inability to settle down in one place. He still has the white hair, but he finally settled down at around age 62.

The lasting effects of combat cannot be measured.
