  • passenger "disruptions" on airlines

a family member was on a flight this week... passenger got upset about something... conflicts with stewardess and plane landed at a midflight airport to kick passenger off the plane. . police arrested the bad guy. fbi boarded looking for additional info and video..
i tried to find internet info on the event and couldn't..... found other videos and news reports but not the event that my family member was on...
one video on a news channel advised that the number of similar events has recently drastically increased...

my first response was that a terrorist was testing the system... when plane landed midflight family member called and i inquired about other passengers that appeared to be in cahoots with the bad guy, either in the airplane or at the boarding gate.

second thought is that acting decent and being civil is not so common in our society as it once was... each of us has a right to
show out and act the fool and steal and fight and destroy. society does not want to punish the bad guys, so why not cause poop to happen...
both of my options are bad news.

Some airlines stopped serving alcohol, I don't think that was the problem, but they stopped it anyways.

What you wrote above coupled with the masking BS pushes a lot of people over the edge. I've only flown a couple times since the mask thing started. About half of the flights were pretty lax, the other half had Karen like stewardesses and would get on you if you didn't have the face diaper on constantly. Some were pushing the "put it back up between bites of food or drink" come on...

Buy some snacks and a drink to bring on the flight, then eat/drink really slowly.

its city people. they are out of control. the level of douchyness and entitlement is unbelievable these days. I'm down here in the trenches in swfl, got a million people living here now, and deal with people everyday. the city people have gotten absolutely terrible. here is how freaking entitled people have become:

yesterday some dumb broad left her $1k phone on our front counter right infront of the register. I walk in from a delivery and spot it instantly. i notify management and stow it under the counter. 30 minutes later the owner calls seeing if she left the phone. we informed her we have it, its safe.......

........she wanted one of us to drive it out to her house.

I'm not kidding. she asked our GM, who is hard butt when it comes to entitled people, to have one of us bring it to her. He ofcourse told her no.

yeah she lives in a ritzy gated development.

imagine the level of entitlement and narcissism it would take to leave your property some where and then expect the working class peons that work there to drive it out to you.

now imagine that person after leaving the airport bar getting on a plane with you.
