a few days ago i spent some time with a female associate at the hospital. they were going through numerous tests.. several times i left the room as i didn't need to be there during those "personal" tests. down the hall i saw a "guard" and asked a question. "guard" immediately told me they were not a hospital guard and that i should ask the guy around the corner.. "guard" would not turn to look at me as they talked... they kept looking at patient in the room... door was open and there was another armed officer in the room.

as i walked i noticed a large electronic board on the wall that listed all patients, their doctor, their condition and other info i didn't understand. my associates name (first and last names were abbreviated) two patients came in at the same time. their names were listed as "confiden" his condition was psyciatric and on next column it said **1013** theno other patient that came in at the same time was there for drugs.. it may have said overdose. my memory fades.

they moved 1013 closer to my associate. and politely asked me to leave the area during the move. that is when i realized there were 3 sheriff deputies. not two.

when i got home i googled 1013. for your reading enjoyment from Ridgeview Institute

In the state of Georgia, there exists a legal document called a 1013 form. The purpose of the 1013 form is to initiate transportation to an “emergency receiving facility” and is completed by an authorized licensed clinician. The language on this form is very important because it speaks to the intent of the form and its appropriate use, for example:
    • Imminent danger to self/others, evidenced by recent overt acts or expressed threats of violence or self-harm
    • Unable to care for physical health and safety so as to create an imminently life-endangering crisis and in need of involuntary treatment
    • ----------------
folks, there were other druggie folks on the electronic board...
i've seen folks post on the internet that there could be problems if there was a societal breakdown and the drugged (legal or illegal) couldn't get their pills there would be problems.. that evening at the hospital.. made that last sentence more real for me.

1013's can be there a while
some hospitals have a hard time finding a facility to accept them and they can't be discahrged unless a Dr signs a release IIRC
Some are slap poo slinging crazy and some are just using the system for a dry warm place to sleep and a meal

This sounds like a Baker Act here in FL
Protecting the sheep from the wolves that want them, their family, their money and full control of our Country!

Guns and gear are cool, but bandages stop the bleeding!

ATTENTION: No trees or animals were harmed in any way in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were really ticked off!
