Well after reading SamT's response in the "Martial Arts Style" thread and his very accurate comment "it's about attitude", I thought I would share an Attitude Check Test I use to make my trainees take in the old days when I was an instructor in the military.

The rules are VERY simple:
1) You cannot ask ANY questions, only use the information given to you in the scenario.
2) You must IMMEDIATELY after reading the scenario answer the question. NO second reading it, NO what ifs, NO butts, JUST IMMEDIATELY ANSWER THE QUESTION.

**Being a forum thread and not in lecture (how I normally give this attitude checker) I will devulge the answer, TOMORROW. :)

Two mortal beings, one has just attacked the other unsuspectingly...
The two are now in mortal combat...
After a few minutes of no holds barred fighting, the attacker has seemed to have gotten the upperhand... Having gotten to the rear of the second; has opened up several life-stealing moves that can now be done. Any of which will end the fight in the matter of seconds.

Your question is a simple one: YOU ARE ONE OF THE TWO IN MORTAL COMBAT, WHAT IS YOUR NEXT MOVE!! :confused:

Dunno enough to deal with it. The attacker could have a sister that was raped by the first guy or something. Make sure me and mine are safe, break it up if possible without getting drug into it and becoming a casualty, call 911.

WOW only 3 answered? It is kind of hard to do this test on the forum, because alot of people obviously will look at other people's response before posting...

But here is the answer:

THERE IS NO CORRECT ANSWER... It is to show you how you picture yourself in life in general.
When given this test, the breakdown is as follows:

Civilians that never had any military background: majority reply as if they are the VICTIM :(

Military and prior military background: majority reply as if they are the attacker, more importantly not the VICTIM :)

Share this test, remember it is better as a lecture test and not a written test as we did here...

My personal results of the test showed women often chose the VICTIM role more often then men also (but I am a nobody, so I don't add that into the scientific study results)... :rolleyes:
