I was watching a show about a scientist who watched solar activity for a large firm. I didn’t understand why so I did some research. Sunspots, or not, can predict market downturns. That and Dem (dim?) presidents.

This article stated what I was thinking: there is something about sunspot activity that affects stock buyers' proclivity to investing instead of taking gains.
