  • What foreign currency?

What other currency notes would you consider having some of?

First thoughts would be Canadian or even Mexican due to proximity to US. Swiss? Yuan? Wait for BRICS new currency?

This isn't for speculation, just another option to have.

Before the inevitable "you should do this first..." list starts up- I wouldn't be thinking about this if we weren't: out of debt, had a year of expenses, PMs, a "fair amount" of LTS, infrastructure, etc. etc.

Plan isn't to necessarily run either, but options are always good.

Discussing specifically readily tradeable/usable foreign currencies.

    What's your thoughts?
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

Used to think Canadian but over the last two years, not sure about that. Maybe a mix of US and Canadian? Definitely not bitcoins.

If you are talking about FIAT paper money, then I believe many are tied to the USD and when it goes, so does their notes....I do have Canadian silver coins though....

USD till they're worthless, then Junk Silver, 1Oz copper rounds followed by 1 Oz silver rounds, the 1/10th Oz gold and 1Oz gold rounds.
Plus trade items....Kotex,airline bottles of booze, aspirin, various OTC meds, soap, etc
Now that's some long term planning.
Me? I keep cheap inverters for sale and plan on selling and charging car batteries.
Of course that 20 tons of coal in the back field might be tradable too.
