This morning I paid off the balance of our motorhome loan so we can get a clear title and sell it. Using the RV for anything is now out of the question, so I had an RV tech over today to replace the chassis and coach batteries with all AGMs so I (and the new owners) won't have to fuss with them. I've started packing up all of our personal belongings and moving supplies like water hoses, sewer hoses, etc. into the motorhome. It needs a good wash and wax, but I'll wait until I'm done clearing everything out.
We are now officially debt-free and it's a great feeling. Every time I use my Amazon cc, I pay it off as soon as the charge shows up. Considering what we paid in interest over the past couple of years, we'd have been better off to just pay cash for the motorhome the day we bought it.
