I'm thinking in in a couple of years gold will be 10K and silver 80% of that price.

Regarding WHAT IF the .gov makes gold and silver ownership illegal AGAIN.
Last time was "collectibles" were exempt.
Point made was about junk silver. Pre 65 silver coins are a collectable.

figured i'd check silver, but make no posts unless silver was up 5$ over last time someone posted a quote.
apmex say silver is 72.67 that's 5$+ over last post that had a quote in only 2 days.

Damn, that "Gold will be $5K and silver $100." thing from the 1990's may honestly happen in my lifetime. 30 years late on their prediction, but nevertheless.

and if prc is correct, even if it is just a wag there are clearly considerable factos that make his wag a swag.
therefore those that have a few extra dollars may want to buy at this "low" well not low but reduced price 72 vs 79 friday!
both numbers are way less than 200.

i recently sold an item and picked up a little extra $$ and started scouting for a place to get a deal.

the biggest thing that's near me is the macon ga area coin show. jan. 23 -24
it's a pretty big show with lots of out of state dealers setting up tables.

i don't know if it's worth the drive. at 85 bucks the dealers will be asking 90 per coin.

going out on a limb here fellas and ladies, realistic for silver eagle will be 100 .. hope i'm wrong.

i prefer the eagle, but my target is junk at these prices.. dimes/quarters/halves might be the handy thing to have if there is a "disruption"
folks know what those are and may find them more acceptable and the cost is cheaper per ounce...
