Well its been a month since I posted in the thread about workouts, as you can tell I didn't get to it like I had posted in the other thread. Tonight was my first night doing bench press....what can I say about it. It felt GREAT!!!! Baby steps though, don't want an injury and besides its not about the weight its about the form. Proper form will do more for you than just throwing around some weight. Why you ask, well there may be a time where you are unable to throw your back into it but if you have been training with proper form you will have the actual muscle strength where as before you only had a fraction of the strength and the rest came from you tossing your body weight around. Good form will make you stronger in the long run.
I actually feel pretty good for what I was able to push with being out for a year. Thank you Lord for the natural high that comes with working out. I'll keep you posted.
