Sycamore Maple Seeds as a Dry Tender

We had a spring shower and I went out to test the Sycamore Maple Seeds as a Dry Tender afterwards.
The results are as follows:
The seed pod is tight and keeps the innards dry. It flairs up but dies quickly however it does keep a slow burning ember to use other material on.
This is useful especially in the spring with sudden showers.
