What's a kickstarter? In short it is community funding of a project. I think of it as a way to fund projects without debt from the banks. The project has differing levels of rewards. Some of the funds raised goes to the Kickstarter company but not much. You can read more here:

The project below will create a how to video on sharpening. Watch the video and you can also see a really awesome pic of a hair being cut length wise!!! Length wise now that is crazy.
I have funded 1 other project this way and I have to say I like this a lot better than the traditional method of the producer having to sell their soul to the bank or give up all ownership rights of their creation.
