Cut a wide gun port in the windshield of your truck, mount it on the dash and you can rock Ma Deuce, zappin' zombies while you bug out!

If I could afford to feed it, have a place to let it play and straight up get one without raising eyebrows in the first place, I'd be rocking Ma Deuce.Originally posted by tech View Postnice little range report...but really, you need to get an adult's weapon...
Sorry...just couldn't resist, with all the AK/AR BS

Someone's got to have an AK on hand to show everyone the side by side superiority of the AR versus the AK. And actually, it was the first trip out for that particular rifle and it needs a lot of breaking in. We were having trigger reset problems so I'll see if it's just a "new" thing and will go away after I send a bunch of rounds downrange or if I need to contact Arsenal. More of a test fire to see if it worked and I've got to break it down and clean it up before making more dirt move around a range and poking holes in targets. But overall impressions are favorable and it shoots a lot better than the Romanian I had before. But it's hard to give up my ARs.Originally posted by WiseOwl View PostDang, a commie rifle in Oklahoma????
Say it aint so!! Say it aint so!!
Looks like them SE boys raps got through to you guys in the OWA!!
:)
Looks like good times indeed. Glad you finally got to get together with them Justified!
As for the 1911, I couldn't resist bringing it along for Matt to know what a finely crafted piece of ordnance steel feels like instead of that plastic Go-Lock. I mean, plastic's only good for model airplanes and WiseOwl's Justin Bieber CD covers...
<cough cough>
<snortle>
Okay, I can't say that with a straight face lol. I did need to bring it out and take some time with it since it's my BBQ gun and is getting used as my "oh crap I'm in the basement and someone's upstairs" pistol for fighting my way to a Sig and AR if needs be. And that particular 1911 still needs a lot more breaking in even though I've had it for a while. Well over 500 rounds and the slide/frame fit is still way too tight and gritty for my liking. Springfield's advice when I asked a few years ago? "Shoot it more or we can put it in the custom shop and hone everything down. Best course of action is to shoot it more and see after a few hundred rounds."

Needs to be a simple way for us old fogies who started when the electronic typewriter first appeared (or earlier) and at my first job at Safeway we trained on the old Sweda mechanical registers. LOL

Naw seriously before everyone gets up in arms. We wanted a variety to cover so educated choices could be made rather than listening to keyboard chatter and feelings for the money your gonna drop.

Got to try piston and gas ARs
It was a great day, got to put the face with the name, throw some rounds downrange, accomplished a meet n greet with a good dude. That range aint my favorite, its unkept, dirty and has some mouthy non safety rule followers everytime i have have gone which caused me to quit going there for a long time. Anyway appreciate those making the drives and sacrifice to be there its worthwhile to do this folks in case you are thinking about making that stretch and reaching out to someone. I enjoyed getting to run a wheelgun for a minute too, kinda miss them after cuttin my teeth on them.
I'll get Patriot Lady to figure out how to post pics on my computer for me. She's pretty good at figuring those things out. If this laptop had 18 wheels, 13 gears and a steering column with about 10 control levers on it I could make this baby hum! LOL

Hover over the icons for a second or two when you are in reply mode...look for "insert Image" click on that icon.
***In Google Chrome it only lets me insert from URL***
You should get a dialog box with 2 tabs "from computer" or "from url"
Follow the directions and you should be good to go.
I posted screen shots on how to do this in another thread...
