Figured it might be interesting to start a thread denoting "good" prices on weapons related item before the election, then come back to it post election and see what's changed.
Too often people wait till something is scarce or unavailable, then suddenly money they "don't have" comes out of no where and they "have" to have it.
I have buddies that wouldn't buy cases of X39 at $72., that wanted to "wait for it to go back to $70" when it was $125. and then finally bought a couple cases at $375. That's piss poor planning.
2 cases at $375= $750. Do the math, that could have been 10 CASES at the original $72.K price.
I know, timing has got a lot to do with it, but when you do have the resources (cash) you have to use them, or their is usually a penalty (higher prices later).
There is a small opportunity to sell some of your excesses when prices do go high, the problem is few really do that, most are scared at that point that they will never find it again even at the inflated price.
So back the OP- let's post some "good" current prices for various weapons, ammo and magazines. We will leave the thread tacked till after the new year and compare given the political climate, etc.
My most used items-
7.62x39 case of 1,000 from Ammoman.com as of email yesterday $235.00
9mm case of 1,000 from SGammo.com Tula $169.95 as of about a week ago
