    You'd need a spud bar and a pick to plant here right now.

    Maybe thats why its called a spud bar. Planting potatoes in frozen ground. ;)

    I'm in zone 8 also. The old timers said to have your taters in the ground by Valentine's Day. I was late because of weather too.

    How is your spring gardening comming along? I have potatoes and english peas in the ground with lettuce and spinach ready to set out. Green beans will be the next to plant I also have tomatoes and peppers started under grow lights. Good luck with your gardens.
