i have 2 associates that have spent the last few decades doing Christian work in Africa.
they are stateside now for a while. i spent most of yesterday with them..
they have been run out of villages by rampaging crowds of bad guys. they have seen horrible inflation, starving folks, muslim problems, etc..
a few short stories
when all breaks down and the looting gangs are running loose... most shots by homeowners are in the air.. the homeowner is just announcing he has gun and looters should go elsewhere. go to a house with no guns. and usually the looters, once they hear the shot, go elsewhere.
in a time when law and order did prevail, there is still lots of thieving... a family had a nicer home, but family was gone, except for a 12 y.o. boy. most folks had dirt floors but this family had concrete floor. as thieves were pounding on door, trying to break in, boy got family machete and started rubbing, it on floor, "sharpening it" making
a clear noise known to thieves... boy had good sense not to speak or holler which would give away his age..
thieves realized someone with machete was behind door preparing to defend house... thieves left and went elsewhere. house and property saved.
the bookakatun (i badly misspelled this group's name... but it is the pos muslims who recently kidnapped a village's 200 young girls you folks have seen on tv)
really are very evil... they are using a common and useful plan of total terror.. kill random and instill fear...
now, when they raid a village the villagers just leave because they have wiped out some whole villages.. folks are scared to even talk about them... how do you know whether the guy sitting in the corner listening to your conversation is a booky or not... so you dare not speak against them.. those who do will have their family wiped out.
there are some moderate muslims. but the moderate muslims will not speak nor stand against the booky's or any other radical muslims. it is not worth the danger to your family. the radicals are too ruthless.
hmm. I'm having some computer problem... so posting and will add some later.
