  • Tool Repairs for my salvaged finds

This past week I was doing some cleaning around the shed, and came across some hand tools in a box minus the handles that I have found over the last 6-8 months. I got some decent handles from one of our local flea markets so that I can clean up the tools (some surface rust) and add the new handles this coming week.

I also got replacement bulbs for a couple flood style work lights. Each one (there are two) has a pair of 120 watt floodlamps. I stopped up at our local Wallyworld yesterday and got the four bulbs. It took all of about 10 minutes to replace them, and now I have a couple good work lights that would have gone to the scrap heap if I had not salvaged them from someones trash while scrapping metals for recycling.

I just love a good story with a happy ending. :D
